- Description
- Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER): Contractor shall provide all supervision, quality control/assurance, labor, materials, parts, components, tools, equipment, apparatus and transportation, and testing necessary to complete miscellaneous construction projects. (SABER) Projects will be awarded on task orders. Performance period is base year plus four 12 month option periods and a 6-month option period. C-001. The general specifications that apply to all SABER projects are provided in the SABER Basic Statement of Work (SOW), dated 16 April 2021, Attachment 1, Basic Statement of Work, Simplified Acquisitions of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER), 910TH Youngstown Air Reserve Station dated 11 August 2021. C-002. SPECIFICATIONS: a) The intent of the specifications is to furnish concise industrial and/or commercial standards for construction, maintenance, repair and alteration of Government facilities and are applicable to all SABER projects. b) General specification are included in the SABER Basic Statement of Work (SOW), see Attachment 1. Any additional specifications, codes, or standards to be utilized for a particular SABER project shall be enumerated in a project specific SOW and the Task order for the particular SABER project. Contractor is responsible for obtaining copy of cited specifications, standards, codes , and manufacturers recommendations.
