- NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (DOT/FHWA)Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD), intends to award a sole source contract to Prescott Creeks under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source, under the North American Industry Classification System code (NACIS) 813312 - Environment, Conservation and Wildlife Organizations with size standard of $16.5 million. The proposed procurement is to provide compensatory mitigation for impacts to waters of the U.S. due to road improvements along State Route 261 (Eagar to Crescent Road) in Arizona. CFLHD must purchase 0.38 advance credits from the Prescott Creeks Preservation Association In-lieu Fee Program. This compensatory mitigation will offset the permanent impacts to 0.088 acre of wetlands and 0.044 acre of streams. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the above-mentioned services may submit a response to this notice (by the response due date shown above) to Chinh.Le@dot.gov.� Information furnished shall include detailed (and relevant) documentation to allow the government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTE. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
