- AMC will host a Summer Industry Preview (SIP), at Scott AFB Illinois, 12-13 July 2022. Objective of SIP �22 is to share AMC�s Focus Areas for the future to inform independent industry research, engineering, and development efforts, and to serve as a stage setter for A/TA�s Industry Interface before the October Airlift/Tanker Association Symposium. SIP �22 will highlight AMC�s operational challenges to our DOD and Industry partners who can offer solutions in a symposium-like atmosphere, energized by hands-on, immersive operational demos to illustrate our challenges in AMC�s current focus areas of communication, survivability, and agility.� The aim is for our solution providers to listen and observe and then come back to A/TA and offer their ideas to close our gaps. Focus:� During this event, we plan to illustrate our operational challenges through a stage setter presentation, threat brief, Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) drill, informative briefings, and hands on flight line immersive demos to illustrate some of the pain points our crews and support entities endure and overcome to make the Air Mobility mission happen.
