- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The intent of this contract is to secure services to mitigate hazardous trees by felling all dead, diseased, and dying trees that are within one (1) tree height distance from nearby parking areas, trails, and roads in the Inyo Craters area of the Inyo National Forest according to contract specifications. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04. This procurement is set aside for 100% Small Business. The NAICS code is 115310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $20.5M. The Contractor shall provide everything--including, but not limited to, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract clearly states is to be furnished by the Government. All quotations shall be submitted electronically no later May 26, 2022, at 2:30 pm, Pacific Daylight Savings Time, to the Contracting Specialist, Casey Lowe at the email shown below: casey.lowe@usda.gov All interested vendors are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required to be eligible for award of contract.
