- This action is a follow on to support the following effort. This Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) contract is required to provide the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (480th ISRW) support of the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission for specific Lockheed Martin Corporation sensor support for Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Training and Support. The AF DCGS is the Air Force's primary ISP Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) system. AF DCGS provides actionable, multi-discipline intelligence derived from multiple ISR platforms to Combatant Commands (COCOMs), Component Numbered Air Forces (C-NAF) and national command authorities across the globe, 24 hours per day, and seven (7) days per week. If there is a lapse in contractual service, there will be a significant degradation to the ability to collect critical ELINT intelligence and the 480th's ability to complete its mission. The DCGS weapon system is a compilation of many components and systems for which ELINT is one.
