Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Service Area, Chicago Office has a requirement at our Houston ARTCC located in Houston, Harris County, TX to provide construction services to include labor and material to replace two (2) water cooled, centrifugal compressor type chillers, each with 325 tons of refrigeration capacity.�� Only one chiller shall be replaced at a time. Estimated Project Size is between $950,000 and $1,500,000 Estimated Performance Time is 180 calendar days NAICS Code � 238220 � Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors - $16.5M Anticipated Start Date � January 2023 This market survey is being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate interest exists. The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time, however, either an unrestricted competition or a set-aside will be chosen based on the results of this market survey. The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a screening information request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey. No contract of any kind will be created as a result of this Market Survey The contractor awarded the contract must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award can be made.� Contractors can register at www.sam.gov. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Interested contractors should submit the following documents to the point of contact listed below: 1. Business Declaration form - attached 2. Address your company�s capability to successfully perform this requirement in accordance with the scope of work and stated dollar range.� Provide experience of completed projects of a similar nature; i.e. critical 24 hour operational facilities (air traffic facilities, hospitals, prisons, 911 call centers, etc.) both in dollar range or higher and scope of work within the last 3-5 years.� 3. Provide your firm�s capability statement. 3. Provide a statement if your firm is under one of the 4 socio-economic categories; 8a, SDVOSB, Certified WOSB or EDWOSB, or HUBZone.� 4.
