Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 20 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources who can provide Connex Integrated Wall Systems for patient vitals, monitoring, and electronic records and that meets the following salient characteristics with a brand name or equal product for the Puget Sound VA Medical Center. BRAND NAME: Welch Allyn Connex Integrated Wall System MODEL NUMBER: 84NTVE2-US CIWS,STD,NEL,STP,SCS,IRT,PO,MV,DOM SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Each wall unit must have the ability to connect to the VA VLAN network and the VA Cerner EHR System. Each wall unit must have vitals monitoring that can perform both tympanic and oral thermometry, blood pressure, oximetry, otoscope and ophthalmoscope. The Monitor shall possess all of these listed functions in one single integrated system. Each wall unit must have Wireless, Ethernet and USB EMR connectivity option for electronic medical records. Each wall unit must have patient vitals monitor, the ability to be wall mounted, and an adjacent to power source. Each wall unit shall measure less than 40 inches in length and 12 inches in height to meet the spacing needs of exam rooms. Each wall unit shall include a compact blood pressure cuff storage and oximeter mount. Each wall unit must have storage for disposable medical accessories such as otoscope probes and oral thermometer covers. Each wall unit must be of neutral color, white or taupe to adhere to current design scheme. Potential Businesses having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to derek.crockett@va.gov no later than 05/27/2022. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address, product details, and documentation confirming access to all required OEM parts must be included in the response. Please note whether system is presently offered on a current Government contract. NAICS Code 339112 is applicable to determine business size standard.
