Contract Title. Centrifuge purchase for Jackson (MS) VAMC-586 Hematology Laboratory 3. Background. The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Medical Center in Jackson, MS is seeking a Centrifuge testing for clinical patient care in the Electrophoresis lab in the Medical Center. The current model is no longer viable due to age and was discontinued by the manufacturer in 2011. This model is no longer supported, so we are unable to get it serviced or repaired. Newer technology will aid in the diagnosis of patients. 4. Scope The medical center requires fluorescent microscope/E200 LED Multi-voltage microscope and its associated parts, see table below. Delivery The vendor shall provide the Centrifuges no later than June 05, 2022. The Centrifuge and parts shall have the purchase order (PO) number easily identifiable on the shipping label. The vendor shall coordinate delivery with Biomedical Engineering at the medical center. The Centrifuge and parts shall arrive during normal business hours and on a non-federal holiday at the following address: G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center 1500 E Woodrow Wilson Warehouse (with later delivery to the Path & Lab Electrophoresis Room #F-55) Jackson, MS 39216 The Chemistry Supervisor or designee will inspect that all products are installed 100%. Upon completion of inspection, COR communicate to Contracting Officer the same authorizing that products have been received complete, and payment can be released. 7. Security Requirements The C&A requirements do not apply and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
