Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command � Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Electron Microscopy Sciences, located at P.O. Box 550, 1560 Industry Road, Hatfield, PA 19440, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). Electron Microscopy Sciences is the only known company offering the unique dual-head sputter coater in a compact laboratory benchtop form factor, as well as a sputter coater which is capable of rapidly switching the coating head from a metal deposition to a carbon deposition factor. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 and the size standard is 1000 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by sending responses regarding this requirement to the Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground CCAP-SCN, Natick Contracting Division via email ONLY to alexandra.m.biro2.civ@army.mil no later than 3:00 p.m. EST 8 February 2023. The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party.
