- Synopsis: The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Source Selection Support Center of Excellence (S3CoE) will host its FY 23 Q~2 virtual symposium entitled the Made in America Office (MIAO) on Wednesday, 15 February 2023, from 9:00-10:30am Eastern Time (ET) online via Microsoft Teams. The purpose of the symposium is to afford our industry and government partners an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of how the MIAO supports the integrated defense acquisition team, related to the Buy American Act, Executive Order 13881- Maximizing Use of American-Made Goods, Products and Materials and Executive Order 14005- Ensuring the Future Is Made in All of America by All of America�s Workers. The MIAO will be sharing information at the symposium. This event is open to industry and government. Agenda � Welcome � Panelist Presentation � Audience Chat Questions/Answers � Closing Remarks Please send MIAO symposium questions no later than 30 January 2023. The RSVP deadline date to attend the symposium is 9 February 2023. Post symposium information: The symposium slides, questions, answers and the post symposium summary will be posted on SAM.gov no later than 17 February 2023 (a recording will not be available). This announcement is in accordance with FAR 15.201 and does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts. The symposium presentation is intended to provide information to Government and Industry without the promise of a current or future contract. Attendance is voluntary and is not required to propose to any potential solicitation. The Government will not provide reimbursement for any costs incurred to participate in this event as a panel or audience member.
