- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. The requirement is for services to support the demonstration and evaluation of the NIWC Pacific developed In Pipe Stormwater Treatment Unit BMP (I-STUB). The I-STUB was developed and patented at NIWC Pacific as part of a Navy Environmental Sustainability Development to Integration (NESDI) R&D funded efforts. Initial testing and field deployments were performed as part of the R&D effort at several locations with San Diego Metro Bases including Naval Base San Diego and Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. This tasking represents a technology transition to ship-yard end users at Bremerton Naval Complex (BNC), specifically Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNSY-IMF) and Naval Base Kitsap (NBK), Bremerton. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
