Description

SYNOPIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION: The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement for services of Wheeled and Hired Car Transportation for the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System and Community Based Out-Patient Clinics (CBOC s). The Contractor shall provide Wheeled and Hired Car Services to Veteran patients of the main Veteran Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC), twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week including holidays as requested by the Government. This requirement is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, and the contract period will be for nine (9) months, with four (4) potential option years to be exercised at the option of the Government.  Based on the results of market research under Sources Sought Notice 36C26224Q0022, posted on 10/27/2023 at SAM.gov, an electronic solicitation may be issued on or about 11/24/2023 at Sam.gov.   The VA intends to make a single award as a result from this solicitation.
