Description
AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, GS Engineering Inc. (cage code 1WUR5), to provide one, Fan Blade Lift Truck, manufacturer part number NFFT0000, as authorized by 10 U.S.C 4003 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 41 U.S.C 1901. � A Project Level Agreement Number LPA-PLA-0025 was awarded against the PCI OTA between USAF/AFMC/AFLCMC AF LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT CENTER 2145 MONAHAN WAY BLDG 28 WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB OH and SOSSEC, Inc. representing the SOSSEC Consortium (OTA Agreement FA8626-17-9-1000) to GS Engineering, a Small Business, and a Non-Traditional Defense Contractor. The OTA project agreement was in accordance with GE Engineering's proposal entitled �Installation/Removal Truck, Fan Drive Hardware� dated 15 May 2020, in response to SOSSEC/LPA OTA Project Announcement Number LP-OTA-20-04. The project was competitively awarded on 3 August 2020 and was successfully completed by GS Engineering on 31 October 2021. In accordance with 10 USC 4003, subparagraph (f), a non-competitive, follow-on production contract directly to GS Engineering is authorized since competitive procedures were used for the selection of the awardee for participation in the transaction discussed above, and GS Engineering successfully completed the prototype project provided for in the transaction. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received electronically by 3:00 PM CST, 21 November 2023. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no favorable responses are received by the date mentioned above, a purchase order will be negotiated with the above-named source.
