- Biosense Webster - Prosthetics Sensory Aids Service Office (PSAS) Electrophysiology (EP) Biosense Webster Catheters requirement under Solicitation number 36C10G24R0001. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VHA Prosthetics Sensory Aid Service (PSAS) in conjunction with the Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) has a requirement for the establishment of a National Contract for Biosense Webster EP Catheters and EP Catheter disposable products. It is the VA s objective to establish a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) National Contract with Biosense Webster Inc. (BWI) that will standardize national pricing for the contractor, ensure all products provided are approved with the pre-market notification process under the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and that all items are Trade Agreement Act (TAA) compliant. The supplies to be acquired consist of various types of Biosense Webster EP Catheters needed for diagnostic testing and treatment for both invasive (intra-cardiac) and non-invasive procedures for use by clinicians performing procedures, which may be required by a VA clinician for a Veteran patients treatment. This is a sole source procurement under Title 41 United States Code (U.S.C) ยง 3304(a)(1) implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition.
