- SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The National Park Service is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of any firm eligible to compete in full and open competition under NAICS code 238220 with a Small Business Size Standard $19M for an upcoming requirement for Mount Rainier National Park in Longmire, WA. ******* Project Description: Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for: the installation of new antifreeze fire protection and alarm systems at the existing historic Longmire Community Building which is a National Historic Landmark site. Existing water supply line will remain with new upsized sewer line to be installed and minor sitework to patch. Electrical needed for alarm system installation. The existing historic building is a wood structure with a mix of log and dimensional lumber framing throughout. Interior finishes to be anticipated for patching include log veneer at the Community Room, all other spaces have been stripped of interior finish for installation of the fire protection system. New finishes in these areas will be provided by the Park under a concurrent project. Patching should be anticipated in, but not limited to, log veneer, framing, and transparent finishes.****** Magnitude of Construction estimate: Between $250,000 and $500,000.****** Responses to this announcement are requested from (1) SBA certified Small Business HubZone firms; (2) Small Business firms certified by a Small Business Administration (SBA) district or regional office for participation in the 8(a)program; (3) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small Business firms; (4) Woman Owned Small Businesses; (5) Small Business; and (6) any firm eligible to compete in full and open competition.****** Interested firms shall submit: (1) NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER OF THE FIRM (including UEI NUMBER) (2) A CAPABILITY STATEMENT addressing the firm�s ability to perform the required work.
