- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with the large business manufacturer Olympus America Inc. The procurement is for the lease of Olympus endoscopy scopes. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334510. This procurement is limited to one source in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b): Items peculiar to one manufacturer. The anticipated award date: 04/29/2024. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Portland VA Health Care System Vancouver Warehouse 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd Vancouver, WA 98661 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the marketplace for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
