Description
SERVICE DESCRIPTION: The Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG), 58th EMIB requires a Catering Service contract to provide meals to 180 Soldiers for up to two meals per day depending on Soldiers status on the dates listed below in order to support training mission at RUHL Readiness Center (National Guard Armory) 1035 York Road Towson, MD 21204 and PVT Henry Costin Armory (National Guard Armory) 8601 Odell Road Laurel, MD 20708. �Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) anticipates purchasing catered meals in accordance with this Statement of Work. The intent is to provide quality catered meals to the MDARNG, in support of personnel in attendance of various training events. The contractor must provide timely, high quality meals cooked under commercial standards and high quality customer service. The MDARNG DAILY Menu is designed to support the Army training environment, and it is critical for the contractor to provide all identified menu components and condiments within the identified food service timeframes. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: All catered meals shall be dropped off in buffet-style serving trays with utensils, cups, and plates to feed 180 Soldiers. The Government will transport meals to remote sites based on the requirements. The Contractor will make sure the meals going to remote sites (CFMR & DAKALB) are packaged accordingly when dropped off at RUHL Armory to make transportation easier for the Government. Laurel Armory does not have remote site. The catering contractor shall deliver the food to the point of contact at both main hub locations (RUHL Armory in Towson, MD and Laurel Armory in Laurel, MD) at the beginning of the specified time-frames. The Government shall have serving line(s) set up in the designated location ready to receive the meals from the contractor during the beginning of the specified meal times. The Government will assist the contractor with carrying in the food to the drop off location (serving line). The contractor may arrive no more than 30 minutes prior to the specified meal time. The Government shall ensure the serving line is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition throughout the meal period, and is responsible for cleaning the serving line at the conclusion of the meal period. The Government is responsible for the set-up and tear-down of the dining area, and for cleaning the dining area. MEAL TIMES AND LOCATIONS: Meal locations and serving times for this requirement are as follows: Locations: Delivery Location 1: Ruhl Armory: 1035 York Road Towson, MD 21204 Delivery Location 2: Laurel Armory: 8601 Odell Road Laurel, MD 20708 Meal serving times: Breakfast: 0730 Lunch: 1130 PARKING: Ruhl & Laurel Armory shall allow only one contractor vehicle for loading and unloading specialty supplies and equipment incident to this contract. Contractor must not park any vehicle closer than 50 feet to any building. Contractor and contractor employee must park vehicles only in undesignated parking spaces in lots. Contractor employees must not park overnight unless actively providing services. Government shall tow any illegally or unsafely parked vehicle at vehicle owner expense. EVALUATION CRITERIA: The Government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government. This is Firm Fixed Price contract award. Basis of Award is Price Only. Prospectives offerors or respondents� important information to be considered before submitting your proposal. 1. Quote must be Firm-Fixed-Price and valid for at least 30 days. 2. Prospective offerors must have an active registration in SAM.gov 3. Each Offeror�s record in CPARS/FAPIIS will be reviewed prior to award. 4. Questions must be submitted to contract specialist no later than 29 March, 2024 by 11:00AM, Eastern Standard Time. The government will not take any more questions after this date. Answers will be posted in sam.gov no later than April 3, 2024. 5. Quote must be submitted no later than 8 April 2024 by 11:00AM, Eastern Standard Time. 7.
