- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source with AboutWeb LLC, Hanover, MD to renew NIST�s current TouchStone AMS Annual License with Gold Tier Support which includes NTE 500 hrs. of software custom development. �This is a sole source inasmuch as AboutWeb owns and controls all of the proprietary rights to TouchStone AMS. �A firm fixed-price purchase order will be issued on or about 31 Dec 2024 for a 1-yr. period and include (4) 1-yr. option periods. �No solicitation package will be issued. �This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. �Inquiries will only be accepted via e-mail to randy.schroyer@nist.gov. �The government will consider responses received by 5:00PM, EST, 8 Jul 2024. �Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. �This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a request for competition. �No telephone requests will be honored.
