Description
The Regional Contracting Office Wiesbaden intends to competitively award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the Repair of cracks and potholes of the runway, main aprons, taxiways, and ramps of Wiesbaden Army Airfield (WAAF) at Clay Kaserne, USAG Wiesbaden, Germany. Period of Performance: 210 calendar days. Government's actual minimum needs: See attached SOW. It will be difficult to submit an acceptable Quote without attending the scheduled site visit. A site visit by all interested vendors is strongly recommended for this Solicitation. Thereafter, the Quotes will be submitted by the vendors for review by the Government. The review will determine whether the quote is: acceptable; or unacceptable. All quotes shall be submitted as described in the Solicitation document and shall be submitted in English. Please be aware that the English version is the binding one. Vendors shall submit Quotes that are acceptable without additional explanation or information. All Quotes must clearly identify the governing codes or industry standards that will apply to the project/requirement. The Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of: method of accomplishment; materials to be used; key project management/technical support description; time schedule; quality control plan. The Government may make a final determination regarding a quote�s acceptability solely on the basis of the quote as submitted. The Government may request additional information/clarifications from offerors of quotes that it considers reasonably susceptible of being made acceptable, and may discuss quotes with the offerors. Design drawings are not required in the proposals but may be submitted at the discretion of the vendor. Vendors will be bound by their quotes. Vendors with quotes determined to be unacceptable will be notified on final determination of unacceptability. Vendors are encouraged to submit multiple quotes presenting different basic approaches. Each quote submitted will be separately evaluated. Vendors are required to submit time schedules for completion of the project. Vendors will be notified if the U.S. Government requires a different time schedule than the one proposed by the vendors. Award will be made to that responsible offeror, who submitted the lowest priced quote, provided that its quote was found to be technically acceptable. The site visit will be held on Thursday 6 March 2025, at 1000 hours. Meeting Point will be at the Lucius D. Clay Kaserne Visitor Center, 65205, in Wiesbaden Erbenheim, at 1000 hours.
