- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: THIS SOLICITATION IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN A FIVE-YEAR, FIRM FIXED PRICE, INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT. NOUN: Axle Assembly NSN: 2520-01-569-6437 GUARANTEED MINIMUM QTY: 5 EA TOTAL 5-YR. QTY (est.): 119 EA PART NUMBER: 3831541 CAGE: 75Q65 PRESERVATION: MIL PACKING: A INSP/ACCP: Origin/Origin FOB: Destination END ITEM: Palletized Loading System (PLS) A1 The Axle Assembly is a device suspended between, and connecting, opposite wheels. It supports the weight of a vehicle, and consists of the housing and axles, and may include the driving differential mechanism. This axle is the third axle on the M1074A1 PLS and M1075A1 PLS. Technical data is not available for this procurement. Solicitation release to web will be approximately 18 June 2025; approximate closing date is 18 July 2025. Once posted, see the solicitation for actual closing date which will be available for downloading from https://sam.gov. REVERSE AUCTION: The solicitation will contain the DLAD reverse auction provision, which allows for the use of a reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction. Registration, on-line training, and other information regarding the reverse auction can be found at https://dla.procurexinc.com.
