This project shall accomplish a design-build replacement of the fuel tanks located at the following facilities. B176, B329, B613, B786, B1206, B3413, B3489, B3506. Replace the listed fuel and waste oil storage tanks on Kadena Air Base. New tanks shall be Convault tanks, or an approved equal, to mitigate leak and corrosion. Work for the project is described in more detail in Section 8 of this Statement of Work (SOW). Sustainable principles, to include life cycle cost- effective practices shall be integrated into the design, development, and construction of the project(s) in accordance with the latest version of UFC 1-200-02, High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements.
