- Description
- Please address all questions 1 through 10 on the attached RFI document and email responses to victor.e.martin@uscis.dhs.gov and rachel.m.turner@uscis.dhs.gov. The USCIS Document Management Division (DMD) manages USCIS document production including the secure identification card redesign and equipment refresh to personalize USCIS secure identification cards in a manner that assures efficiency and maximizes security. DMD requires an integrated card solution that is configurable for various immigration benefits. Card consumables will be used to produce secure identification documents, which serve as proof of adjudicated benefits or immigrant status and may allow entry into the United States. The current portfolio of secure cards produced within DMD includes the Permanent Resident Card (PRC) and Employment Authorization Document (EAD) Cards. Card printing is accomplished using laser marking technology. The production facilities are located at the USCIS CPF (Corbin Production Facility) in Corbin, Kentucky and at the Lee Summit Production Facility (LPF), Lee Summit, Missouri. This allows for a needed redundancy that will satisfy USCIS Continuity of Operations (COOP) requirements, as well as provide additional production capability as production levels have increased and potential additional immigration reform requirements. Both systems require routine maintenance and quick response repairs to ensure the steady production of the secure identification cards. The combined requirement includes: Secure Identification Document Re-design Secure Identification Document Construction Program Management Transition Support Continuity of Operations Planning and Support New Equipment Installation, Migration, and Upgrade Support Equipment Maintenance Hardware Maintenance and Repair Service Software Maintenance Support Software Release and Upgrade Support Technical Support Creation of Reports On-site Equipment Support Software integration from USCIS system to equipment Systems Operation Training
