SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FABRICATION OF MECHANICAL ASSEMBLIES TOBYHANNA ARMY DEPOT PAN016484 Fabrication of Mechanical Assemblies for Tobyhanna Army Depot �Machining Surge DESCRIPTION This Request for Information (RFI) is being conducted to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to support an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the machining surge requirement to fabricate mechanical assemblies and components in accordance with Government drawing packages for Tobyhanna Army Depot, 11 Hap Arnold Boulevard, Tobyhanna, PA 18466. This RFI is issued solely for market research information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The information submitted in response to this RFI may be used to help the Government further define its requirements and in response to a potential increase in workload. Responses will be treated as information only and will not be used as a proposal. All data received in response to this Sources Sought Notice marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release from the Government. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government does not intend to make an award based on this RFI. The Government reserves the right to follow up on a one-on-one basis with RFI respondents to gain additional information or clarity about information submitted. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The Government is seeking to identify potential source concerns capable of satisfying this complete requirement at the prime contractor level under NAICS code 332710 (Machine Shops) and PSC 9999 (Miscellaneous Items). Potential sources should have the mission shop flex capacity capable to support a machining surge requirement to enable the Government to meet delivery schedules. Potential sources are requested to provide information of their firm's Quality Management System such as National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certifications, AS9100/AS9110 certification, American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1, (AWS) D1.2 and (AWS) D1.6 certifications, or any other relevant certifications.
