Description
Please advise if VA can provide key plans and as built for exact location of the repairs identified in the RFP. No plans and as built, have been found. What is the ICRA level requirement during performance of work? Type C Please advise if VA will issue an Admin NTP after award to cover for submittals and material purchase, including mobilization of contractor. This can be coordinated after award. Considering the project size, can the superintendent dual hat as ssho/qc? Yes. During the site walkthrough, it was mentioned that the VA is looking for pricing on some HVAC work. Please advise any relevant scope details or documentation if this needs to be added to the scope of work? No additional scope will is contemplated at this time. Is there any anticipated utility shutdown required for this project? Yes. Steam. Please advise if testing is required and what type (hydrostatic, leak detection, etc). Leak test. Please confirm the performance of work will be daytime/normal business hours. After hours preferably weekend. Please confirm that all steam shutdowns can be performed during normal working hours (8:00 AM 4:30 PM, Monday Friday), with no after-hours or weekend work required. After hour work required. Please clarify that the pipe testing requirement only applies to newly installed unions and piping. Testing will occur once the steam is turned back on. Any leaks found afterward due to pressure displacement in the existing, deteriorated system should be considered unforeseen and subject to additional cost. The contractor will only be responsible for the work the perform, if additional work or repairs are required, those changes will be negotiated as needed. //////////////////////////// Last Item //////////////////////////////////
