- This is not a Request for Quote. This is a Sources Sought Notice This announcement is for market research purposes to identify potentially capable vendors available to provide a facility security assessment software system at the Stewart Lee Udall Building in Washington, DC (see Attachment A � Draft Statement of Work) for the Department of the Interior�s Office of Law Enforcement and Security (OLES). The Government encourages the potential vendor community to provide feedback for consideration as we work to finalize our acquisition strategy. Responses to this request for information will not constitute responses to any request for quote, which is not currently available. No request for quote currently exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the request for quote. The decision to solicit for a contract will be solely at the Government�s discretion. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government�s evaluation of the capability statement received may factor into whether any forthcoming request for quote will be conducted as a small business set-aside (or further socioeconomic subset), full and open competition, or sole-source procurement. The Government may also utilize responses to determine potential sources that may be solicited under FAR 8.405-2(c)(2)(ii). Also note that a similar announcement is being made on SAM.gov, as a final acquisition strategy has not been determined. Firms that believe they are capable and interested in providing these services may submit a capability statement via e-mail to the Contracting Officer, Jonathan Chisholm, at jonathan.chisholm@ibc.doi.gov which shall be considered by the agency. The capability statement shall be no more than ten (10) pages in length and should address the following topics: � Organization�s name, SAM UEI, Address, Phone Number, Email, and Point of Contact Information. � Indicate if these services are available through an existing government contract vehicle that is available to utilize (e.g., GSA Schedule). � Description of any work done that is similar to the SOW. o Specifically include information on any federal customers that your company has provides, or has provided, services similar to those in the SOW. Please provide the Department and Agency, Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, and Email Address. o Indicate when awarded, if it is completed and when, and estimated award value. � Include your business size classification (e.g., large business, small business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDB, SDVOSB, WOSB, VOSB, etc. for the GSA Scheduled contract). � Please indicate if your company plans to complete the work directly or subcontract some of all of the work to a third party. Responses to this request for information shall not constitute responses to any request for quote, which is not currently available. No request for quote currently exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the request for quote. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely at the Government�s discretion, and it is currently anticipated that if a solicitation is published it will occur sometime during Fiscal Year 2026. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice.
