Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: -Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract IAW FAR 6.302-1, to HYDR8 for the New York Harbor VAMC for one base year with the provision of four (4) option years, (09/01/2025 to 08/31/2030). HYDR8 is the only Vendor authorized to service the Oasis International water and bottle fillers currently onsite at the NYHHS VAMC Brooklyn, St. Albans and MCC facilities. The NAICS code is 811310-Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and PSC J045 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of equipment-Plumbing, heating and Waste Disposal Equipment. Product Description Product Code HYDR8 LLC Maintenance and Repair 155 Oasis Water Dispensers The NYHHS VA Brooklyn, St Albans and MCC facilities requires a service contract to conduct preventative maintenance to the 155 touchless water dispensers installed throughout each campus. The service to be provided by the contractor under this contract requires routine preventive maintenance of NYHH s touchless drinking water dispensers. The services will include replacing water filters, according to manufacturer specifications, as needed. Additional services and maintenance as needed to include cleaning, sanitation, drainage inspection, unclogging, water pressure checks, UV light bulb replacement and firmware/software updates as needed. The NYHH requires support services to diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions on a routine basis and Engineering does not have factory trained and authorized staff to support this equipment. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, HOWEVER, Any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by August 4th, 2025 @10:00am EDT. Responses shall be submitted via email to Lorraine.Hussain@va.gov. Telephone request or inquiries will not be accepted.
