- Description
- The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is conducting market research to identify qualified and capable sources to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Unscheduled Repair Services for Material Handling Equipment (MHE). These are non-personal support services required for MHE equipment located at designated commissary groups and store locations. This is a Sources Sought Notice and not a solicitation for proposals or quotes. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred in responding. The information provided in response to this notice will be used to assist the Government in determining appropriate acquisition strategies, including potential set-aside decisions. The current requirement includes services at the following DeCA locations: - Group 16 (Louisiana): - Barksdale Air Force Base, LA - Fort Polk, LA - Group 16 (Kansas): - Fort Leavenworth, KS - Fort Riley, KS Interested vendors are encouraged to submit a capability package that includes the following: company name, address, CAGE Code, and UEI (Unique Entity ID); business size and socioeconomic status under NAICS 811310; any applicable GSA Schedule or contract vehicles; and a brief capability statement (not to exceed three pages) summarizing relevant experience with MHE preventive maintenance and repair services. Vendors should also identify their geographic service coverage, indicating whether they can support one or both of the groups listed. Additionally, respondents are invited to provide any comments, concerns, or recommendations regarding the draft requirement. Vendors located within or near the designated service areas are especially encouraged to respond, as their input will help DeCA assess the availability of local sources.
