- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4, is soliciting offers for brand-name only (Thermo Fisher AB 3500 DX Genetic Analyzer) for use by the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Please see the attached documents for the full solicitation requirements. Solicitation Details: Product: AB 3500 DX GENETIC ANALYZER DCS 3.2 and associated equipment Purpose: To identify genetic/inherited disorders and also to make a differential diagnosis in certain somatic diseases such as cancer Set-Aside Status: The solicitation is designated as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. NAICS and Size Standard: NAICS Code: 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) Size Standard: 1,000 employees Offeror Responsibilities: Potential offerors are responsible for downloading and returning a copy of the solicitation package to the contracting POC. Offerors must ensure they are informed of all solicitation requirements and deadlines by regularly checking the Contract Opportunities (SAM.gov) website for updates and amendments. Please note that any amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on this website.
