Description
This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24226B0006, Project Number 561-25-125 Replace Pumps for Chillers at the VA Health Care System, East Orange Campus, 385 Tremont Ave., East Orange, NJ 07018-1023. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 238220 and has a size standard of $19 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: The project involves upgrading the HVAC system distribution pumps, and associated components located in the mechanical room serving the chillers in Building 1. The existing pumps are in poor condition, barely functional and have exceeded their useful life. Replacing these pumps will significantly reduce maintenance time, improve system control and enhance the distribution of heating and cooling across rooms, floors, and departments. The upgraded chiller system will also contribute to a more comfortable and reliable environment for patients, visitors, and staff at the VA New Jersey Health Care System East Orange Campus, Building 1 (Main Hospital). The contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing pumps and associated components. The contractor shall also furnish all labor, materials, tool, and supervision necessary to perform work for VA Project 561-25-125 Replace Pumps for Chillers, in accordance with AE drawings and specifications. This project objective is to replace the existing main Condenser Water Pumps CWP-1, CWP-3, and pumps CHP-1, CWP-2 serving the Operating Room (OR) Chiller system at the East Orange VA Medical Center. Project Completion: 135 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about October 31, 2025. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be emailed. No hand-carried bids will be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet) and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
