Falcon Blvd, Peoria, IL 61607, POC SMSgt Ben Yeutson. Synopsis: REPAIR B632 FIRE SUPPRESSION AND HANGAR DOOR SOURCES SOUGHT. THERE ARE NO SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS TO PROVIDE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT AT THIS TIME AS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. **PLEASE READ CAREFULLY** The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge and market research of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business Sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. USPFO for Illinois National Guard, 182nd Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm fixed price (FFP) construction contract to �Repair the Fire Suppression and Hangar Door for Building 632.� The installation requires facilities that are appropriately configured to support 8 C-130J aircraft. The fuel system maintenance hangar has an abandoned AFFF fire suppression system and one obsolete fabric door. Work includes the repair of the existing fire protection and detection systems. Remove existing AFFF tanks and existing piping and replace with new water pipes and pumps. Resize pumps in the Base Pump House, Building 831 to adequately provide pressure to the fire water loop. Remove MEGADOOR hangar doors at north door of building 632, mullion doors, motors, and associated conduit, wire, etc. Install new hangar door system and associated components. The magnitude of construction is expected to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, with a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 12 November 2025. Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include: (1) Business name, address, CAGE Code or UIN, and business size under NAICS 236220. (2) If a small business, identify small business type (HUBZone, SDVOSB, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business, etc.). (3) Demonstration of the firm's experience as a prime contractor on projects of similar size, type and complexity within the past five (5) years. List actual projects completed and include project title and location, a brief description of the project to include dollar amount of the project and work that was self-performed. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) Provide firm�s single project and aggregate bonding capacity and information on the organizational and financial resources available to perform the required work. (5) Provide a brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. Additionally, provide information on any teaming arrangement that may be formed for performance of this project. (6) Indicate firm�s intent to submit a proposal on the subject acquisition when advertised as a prime contractor. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
