Description
The Wisconsin Air National Guard at Truax Field in Madison, WI is conducting this Sources Sought to identify contractors who possess the capability and adequacy of fulfilling the following requirement: Background: The 115th Maintenance Group, Non-Destructive Inspection office, is equipped with x-ray support equipment as identified in Air Force TO 33B-1-2. At the time this equipment was installed, it was equipped with X-Ray Safety Interlock Assembly, Technical Services Group (TSG) P/N 501013. It was subsequently identified that TSG P/N 501013 had been superseded by TSG P/N 501015 and replacement/upgrade to the new part number was recommended. The 115th Maintenance Group, Non-Destructive Inspection office, procured the updated X-Ray Safety Interlock Assembly, TSG P/N 501015. During installation by 115th Fighter Wing personnel, the new X-Ray Safety Interlock Assembly, TSG P/N 501015, was damaged. The 115th Maintenance Group, Non-Destructive Inspection office, now has a requirement to repair and install the X-Ray Safety Interlock Assembly, TSG P/N 501015, ensuring their equipment has the required interlock operational capabilities in accordance with Air Force TO 33B-1-2. Alternatively, Air Force TO 33B-1-2 provides for the proposal of interlock systems other than the TSG 501015 if the AF NDI Office has determined the equipment to be compliant with all radiation safety requirements. The proposed solicitation/award is anticipated to include the following CLINs: CLIN 0001 X-Ray Safety Interlock Relay Assembly Repair of 2 ea. PN 501015 X-Ray Safety Interlock Relay Assemblys or supply of 2 ea. NEW X-Ray Safety Interlock Relay Assemblys that have been approved by the AF NDI Office. CLIN 0002 X-Ray Safety Interlock Relay Installation/Functional Test Installation, commissioning and functional check of X-Ray Safety Interlock Relay Assembly. Sources capable and willing to provide these items/services are requested to email a response with Sources Sought W50S9F-26-Q-0001 in the subject line demonstrating the firms qualifications to fulfill the defined requirement. Responses must be complete and sufficiently detailed to address the specific information. The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following: 1. Name of the firm and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). 2. The socioeconomic status of the company. 3. Point of contact name, phone number, and email address. 4. Suggested NAICS code, if different than Sources Sought notice. 5. Proposed Interlock Relay Assembly with documentation from the AF NDI Office showing it meets all radiation safety requirements. Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy for a possible Request for Quote (RFQ), to be issued at a later date, and in determining whether any type of small business set-aside is possible for this procurement or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized.
