Defense Investigative Service(DIS). Seeking sources, technical information and solutions, approximate component pricing and industrycomments on a draft statement of work for file automation and document conversion. DIS has arequirement to digitally store completed investigations. This entails converting approximately 3 millioninvestigations stored in a microfiche format and converting paper documents associated with on-goinginvestigations. All solutions proposed shall support and interface with existing Oracle 7 applicationsrunning on a DEC Unix platform. The objective is an integrated turn-key solution that meets therequirements of the specification (hardware, software, services, training, integration and installation).Responses are requested by November 22, 1995.
