Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement to provide Level of Effort engineering support for the 5"/62 Caliber MK 6 Ammunition Hoist. Solicitation N00024-01-R-5243 will be issued to McNally Industries, Inc. because they are the only source that currently manufactures the MK 6 Ammunition Hoist and they have the requisite knowledge and expertise to meet the requirements, which will be related to the MK 6 Ammunition Hoist production contract. Award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the Navy's requirements. See Numbered Note (s) : 22.
