Description

This is a market survey to locate potential sources to manufacture the antenna assembly, AS-3900A. It is used with the SINCGARS ground radio system, and is designed to be mounted in different types of wheeled vehicles. The antenna has a 9 feet bi-pole fiberglass whip and a lexan sub-assembly base. It is center fed. It operates over a frequency range of 30-88 MHz and has frequency hopping capability. Its maximum Power is 150W. This antenna also has a range capability of approximately 22 miles in good environmental conditions.
