Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to issue a restricted solicitation to provide select equipment to complete the scheduled Furuno RADAR installation for Assault Craft Unit Five, Camp Pendleton. This equipment includes a Furuno FR 2115BB X Band Radar System with 12KW Transceiver, 30m Interconnect Cable, 24 RPM Gearbox 24VDC Operation,, RP26 Plotter Option (RM/TM Navigation Plotter with Radar Overlay and Chartplotting), ARP 26 ARPA 40 Target Auto Plotter (ATA) with Target Data Output, USA Chartcard, PG1000 Digital Compass, GP36 GPS Navigator with H-Field antenna, 15" High Definition Color LCD Display Unit Model CME 150CDVD, 8.5" High Definition Color LCD Display Unit Model CME 085 TFT. This is a firm fixed price contract. The required delivery date is January 5 2001. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only one source or only a limited number of responsible sources. The Government intends to negotiate with Custom Marine Electronics.
