Description

The U.S. Department of State (DoS) intends to extend services on a sole source basis with the incumbent 8(a) contractor, MACI, 2800 Shirlington Road, Suite 400, Arlington, VA 22206, to provide for the continuation of the operations services at the Hagerstown Warehouse in support of the mission of DoS' Transportation and Warehousing Office. Said extension will be for a period of up to six months and will commence on April 1, 2001. The current contract will be modified to provide for the initial period of April 1, 2001 through May 1, 2001. This procurement action is required to allow the Government time to complete the award of a new contract that is being procured in accordance with the provisions of Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act pertaining to competitive 8(a) procurements.
